Color Management is Important- Here’s Why

Over the past couple of months we’ve been on a mission to explain our processes and help you understand how we create images. A lot has gone into making our results the best! We use CGI to create beautiful marketing images and to gain additional control when it comes to the presentation of your product. Color management is a crucial part of creating photorealistic images. It’s something we take very seriously.

The number one reason to be careful with color management is product accuracy. We make sure that your images are photorealistic and that your customer only sees the best representation of your product. (Believe it or not black isn’t just black so we make sure your product has the right one!). Thankfully, color management on the web is improving with each new browser update but we’re still often at the mercy of individual devices. Cohesive, carefully managed images will help customers trust your brand, meaning they’re more likely to buy again.

We verify color at several points in our image creation process. Calibrated monitors and special viewing stations are used for physical product comparisons along with the digital samples you provide, helping us analyze and correct the color in your images. Our team is trained to study colors in ways most people aren’t and can fine tune them across different lighting scenarios and final output mediums to create consistent color every time.

Creating beautiful images is just a part of what we do! If you missed our last few newsletters or want to read more about what PIX-US does every day, here are some links. And as always please reach out if you have any questions!
